Since we’ve last spoke….
I am now officially ZUMBA CERTIFIED!!!
After nine hours of dancing my lil heart out in San Diego….. I got my certification! Woooooohooooooo;)
I’m sure most of you are familiar with ZUMBA, and the bright colors all the ZUMBA folk wear, right?
Well, I never thought I would be “that” instructor… ( I’m usually in black or grey) but, I gotta tell ya, I lost my ZUMBA shit in there! Lol. I came home with purple and teal pants, fluorescent sports bras, bright orange headband, weird “party time”bracelets… I got home and literally started laughing out loud at myself. I’m kindaaaaa feelin’ it though. 😉
Ok, so some of you may have already seen this pic if you follow me on instagram, but I just had to share…. I am sooooo damn sick of turkey it’s ridiculous. The other day I roasted a 12 lb turkey at 5:00 am. ( no bigs, just what I do) as part of my week meal prep. Well, after 30 minutes of carving the freakin’ thing, I thought to myself.. ” hmmmm, maybe 12 lbs was a bit big” NOOOOOOOO, really???? I have been eating turkey for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for like 4 days, and I wanna scream. It’s really delicious….but seriously c’mon.
Surprise, surprise…. Turkey for breakfast.
Along with my new fave Ezekiel bread topped with raw nut butter and Natures Hollow raspberry sugar free syrup. ( sounds weird, but yumsville)
Ooh, and I just taught my first class!!! But before heading out, I made a protein shake for after class, obviously knowing I would be starved afterwards. ( Usually what happens to me after working out intense for an hour…bottomless pit syndrome)
1 packet About Time strawberry whey protein
1 handful Swiss chard
1 tbsp fromage blanc
1/2 tsp pure vanilla powder
Silk 30 cal unsweetened almond milk
Udo’s choice probiotic pill.
My class was AMAZING! Love my students and my supporters. Tonight’s class came with a surprise… SPARTOS for everyone! Yessss! So stoked my class got to enjoy some of that amazing protein water that I love so much.
My fellow instructors who have helped me soooo much during this training process! Love u Amigas. They came and took my first class. Ahhhh, love them so much, their energy made me go even more FULL OUT!
#1 it’s called Flex Friday…. #2: we just like to pose in front of the mirror, while we’re sweating like criminals on the run.

Thank you SPARTOS, and thank you amazing ladies for all your positive energy! I wore my Polar ft60, and we burned over 750 calories in 1 single hour! That’s what I call a WORKOUT! All the while, having loads of fun!
