TRADITIONAL PROTEIN PANCAKES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/3 cup egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
DIRECTIONS:
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
Add mashed banana, mix well
Add egg whites, mix well
Spray pan with coconut oil spray
Add batter with a spoon to make sure you don’t make too large
You’ll see it start bubbling a bit, use a flat spatula to flip (this is also why it’s easier to keep them small)
re-apply spray to pan between every pancake to ensure no sticking
Topped with anything you want. I love it with a tablespoon of any kind of raw nut butter or fruit. Have fun with this one. It’s super easy and a GREAT way to get that protein in post-workout. You can’t even tell they are the healthy option:)
